RDF & SRF

A Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) or a Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) is a type of fuel.

It is mainly prepared from solid waste sorting refuse such as:

  • Household waste (MSW) and residual household waste,

  • Common Industrial waste (CIW),

  • Commercial waste

  • Bulky waste.

RDF is characterised by its high calorific value, It is intended to be burned in boilers, furnaces or incineration plants as an energy source instead of the fossil fuels normally used.

Often in pre-shredded form, it must be able to be baled to :

  • Limit logistical and storage costs,

  • Reduce carbon footprint.

Pour ce type de matériaux, nous préconisons nos presses à balles PMM.

PMM balers have the advantage of being versatile machines that can compact a wide variety of materials with a single tool.
