On 30 September, COPEX organised a one day visit at the Austrian recycling company RAGG, which has been working with a LIDEX scrap shear with a cutting force of 1,300 tonnes since summer 2020. About 40 representatives of German, Austrian and Swiss companies were present.<\/p>\n\n

Visits to the beautiful RAGG site in the heart of the Tyrolean Mountains, organised during the day, highlighted the unique advantages of the LIDEX, the most important of which is the fully automatic cycle including the compression and shearing\/cutting phases. COPEX is the only manufacturer to offer the fully automatic cycle for this class of heavy-duty scrap shears with side compression. \n<\/p>\n\n

This event is part of COPEX’s development in the German-speaking markets and follows the creation of a representative office in Germany (Saarbr\u00fccken). The LIDEX was generally well received by the visitors, who appreciated its innovative features and considered it to be particularly well suited to their needs.<\/p>\n\n

For those who wished, the event was extended by a guided tour of the Olympic ski jumping track in Bergisel, followed by a dinner in the site’s panoramic restaurant with a breathtaking view of the city of Innsbruck.<\/p>\n\n
