&amp; SRF"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><p>A Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) or a Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) is a type of fuel.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p>It is mainly prepared from solid waste sorting refuse such as:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><p><strong>Household waste (MSW) and residual household waste,<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li><p><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Common Industrial waste (CIW<\/strong><strong>)<\/strong>,<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Commercial waste<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Bulky waste<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\n<p><p>RDF is characterised by its <strong>high calorific value<\/strong>, It is intended to be burned in boilers, furnaces or incineration plants as an energy source instead of the fossil fuels normally used.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p>Often in pre-shredded form, it must be able to be baled to :<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><p><strong>Limit logistical and storage costs<\/strong>,<\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Reduce carbon
